Your project, from first idea to verified fixes

Plan, build, and improve your website in one workspace.

Organize ideas on a visual board, scan your website and code, monitor the journeys that matter, build an AI chatbot from your own pages, and work through fixes until a re-check passes.

The first scan needs no account and reads only your public site.

Preview of a Defexity scan running over a project in a code editor: 142 files scanned and 7 issues found, including a hard-coded Stripe secret key and an SQL injection marked critical, a missing auth check marked high, and open CORS marked medium.

Works with the tools you already build with.

The gap

AI can build your app. Defexity makes sure it survives production.

  1. AI-built apps often look finished but fail in production

The demo works on localhost. Then real users hit missing error pages, exposed keys, broken emails and a checkout that never confirms.

    Secrets, headers, legal pages

  2. One small AI change can break signup, checkout, or payments

Ask for a new feature and the agent quietly rewrites a webhook or an auth check. Nothing tells you until revenue drops.

    Regressions ship silently

  3. Security issues and broken flows are hard to spot before users do

Open API routes, leaked service keys and soft 404s are invisible in the UI. You find out from a customer, or an attacker.

    Invisible until it is not

Before and after: an API route that returned every user without checking the session is fixed to require a session, scope the query to the user's organization and return only needed fields. The rescan passes.

How it works

One project, from first idea to verified fixes

  1. 01

    Plan

Lay out pages, services and milestones on a visual board, then turn them into tasks with due dates and a Today list.

    Beta
  2. 02

    Connect

Add your live site, link a GitHub repository with read-only access and keep preview environments next to production.

  3. 03

    Scan and understand

Security, reliability, privacy, accessibility, SEO and performance findings, each with evidence, severity and the reason it matters.

  4. 04

    Fix and verify

Copy a repair prompt into Cursor, Claude Code, Lovable, Bolt or Replit. A finding is marked fixed only when a re-check passes.

  5. 05

    Monitor

Uptime, API and browser journeys on a schedule and after each deploy, with incidents and summaries drawn from the run evidence.

  6. 06

    Support visitors

Build a chatbot that answers only from pages you approve, cites its sources and hands off when it does not know.

Try a website scan

Paste a public URL. No account, no code access: Defexity reads what any visitor could see.

No sign-up for the first scan. Only scan sites you own or are allowed to test.

AI fix prompts

Don’t just find the bug. Fix it.

Defexity turns evidence into a precise prompt for the AI tool you already use, then reruns the check and only marks it resolved when it passes.

  1. Deploy a3f9c1 pushed

“Add annual billing toggle” · 2 files changed

  2. Checkout failed after deployment

    Critical flow · step 4 of 5 · 4.6s

  3. Stripe webhook returned 500

POST /api/webhooks/stripe · signature verification removed

  4. Defexity generated a repair prompt

Likely cause: webhook signature validation missing since a3f9c1

  5. Rerun passed, incident resolved

Checkout green again · 3 min after the fix

Fix this production issue in this codebase. Find the relevant files yourself before editing.

Issue FLOW-CHECKOUT: Checkout failed after deployment: Stripe webhook returned 500
Site: https://my-saas.vercel.app/
What Defexity found:
- Failing step: POST /api/webhooks/stripe → 500 after checkout.session.completed
- Changed in deploy a3f9c1: app/api/webhooks/stripe/route.ts

First confirm the issue in the code or live config. If it is not present, say so and change nothing.
Task: In app/api/webhooks/stripe/route.ts, read the raw body with await request.text(), verify it with stripe.webhooks.constructEvent using the stripe-signature header and STRIPE_WEBHOOK_SECRET, return 400 on a bad signature, and keep the existing fulfilment logic unchanged.

Constraints: make the smallest change that fixes this, keep the current design and behaviour, never paste secret values into code or chat, and tell me which files you changed.
Done when: Send a test event with the Stripe CLI and confirm a 200, then complete a test-mode checkout end to end.

Security

Security checks built for AI-generated code

Rules follow the OWASP Cheat Sheet Series and WCAG 2.2. Every check is read-only, respects robots.txt and stores evidence with secrets redacted.

  • Secrets and credentials

Payment, AI and cloud keys in bundles; exposed .env and .git; database URLs.

  • Authentication and access control

API routes that answer without a session; weak session cookies.

  • Injection and input validation

CSP, mixed content and stack traces that make injection worse.

  • Configuration hardening

HTTPS, HSTS, clickjacking, referrer and permissions policies.

  • Dependency vulnerabilities

OSV.dev advisories for your lockfile once GitHub is connected.

  • AI security

Browser-side AI keys, unauthenticated AI routes and missing rate limits.

  • Payment and webhook security

Webhook signature checks and test-mode checkout monitoring.

  • Privacy and DPDP readiness

Policies, consent before tracking, pre-ticked boxes and DPDP signals.

Who it is for

Built for indie hackers, freelancers, and AI-first teams

  • Indie hackers

You shipped with Lovable or Bolt over a weekend. Defexity checks the things the demo never exercised before you post the launch.

  • Freelancers and agencies

Hand clients a site with a readiness report, then keep watching it after handover so a plugin update never becomes your emergency.

  • AI-first teams

Your engineers merge AI-written changes daily. Deployment checks catch the regression in the PR, with the fix prompt attached.
