LowDefault severity · SEO / Quality · SEO, quality and performance

Last reviewed

What it checks

Number of <title> elements inside <head> (SVG titles are ignored).

Why it matters

Search engines and browsers pick one unpredictably, so the title shown may not be the one you wrote.

Recommended fix

Keep a single <title> in the head.

How to verify

View the page source and confirm one <title> in the head.

Example fix prompt

Generic prompt (your report adds the evidence)
Please fix this production issue in my app.

Issue SEO-019: Page has more than one <title>
Site: https://your-app.example

First confirm the issue in the code or live config. If it is not present, say so and change nothing.
Task: Make the page render exactly one <title> in <head>: remove the duplicate added by the layout, a plugin or a head-management library.

Constraints: make the smallest change that fixes this, keep the current design and behaviour, never paste secret values into code or chat, and tell me which files you changed.
Done when: View the page source and confirm one <title> in the head.
